XR-Series PC Based DVRs

The Xr Series DVR is a professional chassis and software upgrade to the existing X-Series DVRs. This upgrade incorporates numerous items including Removable Drives, Front LCD display and more.
 
The Xr series incorporates all the features of the original X-Series including FPS, remote connectivity, user management, and API integration.

 

KEY FEATURES

5 Removable Hard Drives

  The new Xr chassis comes with 5 removable drive bays. Removable Drive Bays allow for easy insert/removal of drives.
  Upgrade Storage
  Upgrading storage in the field and increasing the amount of video you can record is now as easy as inserting a drive.
  Replace Failed Drive
  No more screwdrivers. With the new Xr-series it takes seconds to replace a drive.
   

Up to 2.5 Terabytes Storage

  Store more video and audio internally than the X-Series... up to 2.5 Terabytes. The chassis can hold up to nine drives (five of which are in removable bays).

Internal storage is always less expensive than adding additional external storage options.
   

Optional RAID 5 Protection

  The Xr series offers optional RAID 5 data protection. Simply put, this means in the event a data drive fails, you will LOSE NO DATA. When a system is configured with RAID 5, data is redundantly written to more than one drive. When a drive is replaced the data is copied from the other drives in the system and then re-written to the replaced drive.
   

Front Mounted USB Ports

  Now with front mounted USB ports connecting devices to the DVR is a snap.
 
Add/remove a USB drive for backup and archival purposes.
Quickly attach a USB Flash drive to remove exported video and pictures.
Quickly attach a printer to print a snapshot
Attach keyboard / mouse only when you need it. This becomes handy when numerous units are installed in a location.
   

Enhanced Cooling System

  A more advanced cooling system, with directional air flow, has now been added to the Xr chassis. Heat is the number one cause of drive failure and so reducing the heat can substantially increase the life-span of the DVR unit.
